Learning Together For All To Succeed

Our School Vision and Values

OUR CHRISTIAN VISION

Our motto:  ‘Learning together, for all to succeed’

At St Faith’s Church of England Primary School, we are guided by Christian values to create a caring and inclusive community built on kindness, trust and respect, where every child feels valued.

We aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning, supporting and challenging each child to develop the skills and knowledge they need for the next steps in their learning journey.

At St Faith’s, every child is nurtured to flourish, succeed and live life in all its fullness (John 10:10)

“I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness". John 10:10

How will we achieve this? Our Guiding Principles

  • Creating a safe, nurturing environment and ethos of trust, respect and acceptance.
  • Ensuring inclusive practice so that individuals are able to thrive.
  • Delivering an inspiring, broad curriculum focused on the progression of children’s knowledge and skills.
  • Teaching and practising our core Gospel values of Kindness, Trust and Courage and celebrating being part of a wider community.
  • Developing children’s spirituality through exploring their connections with themselves, others, God and the world around them

OUR CORE VALUES

At St Faith’s, there are three core Christian values which underpin all that we do and enable us to fulfil our vision. These are Kindness, Trust and Courage.

Through daily collective worship, reflection time, RE lessons and PSHE lessons, children are able to explore these values in depth and reflect on how they relate to their own lives.

Kindness

‘Be kind and compassionate to one another.’

Ephesians 4:32

Kindness and forgiveness are central Christian virtues. This aligns with our school’s emphasis on nurturing and valuing every child, while creating a culture of respect.

Trust

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart.’

Proverbs 3:5

Children and staff are encouraged to build trust- in God and each other. Positive, trusting relationships are a core part of our school’s ethos.

Courage

‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’

Joshua 1:9

Children learn that Saint Faith stood up as an advocate of her beliefs and took courageous steps to help all those around her who were in need. Like St Faith, we encourage all our children to be courageous, trusting God to help them do what is right, even when things may be difficult. Children are inspired to face challenges with strength and faith.

Our values link directly to our expectations for learning and behaviour, therefore children learn to follow three clear school rules:

School Rule

We show we care.

We keep safe.

We are ready to learn and we persevere.
