Focus activity
The focus of the activities explore the different areas of the curriculum. Children work in small groups with an adult.
Focus story
Each week we have a new focus story that children will listen to, join in with, learn about (and around) and have activities linked to daily. We also have a 'word of the week' that is linked to the story.
Independent Learning
Children have access to both the inside and outside learning environments. There are opportunities to explore child-initiated (self-access) activities and adult-initiated (set up) activities, using a wide range of resources and with links to the different areas of the curriculum.
Carpet inputs
These are short carpet inputs which provide opportunities to introduce, practice or explore different areas of the curriculum, including phonics and maths.
