Discovery, investigation, making predictions… our practical approach here at St Faith’s in the way we teach Science makes the learning truly meaningful to the lives of the children. It develops their natural sense of curiosity and nurtures this sense of enquiry to extend their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
Bolstering the hands-on approach, key facts and concepts are introduced about life processes, living things, material and physical processes so that as children progress they develop key scientific skills and knowledge to support and underpin their growth in this subject.
We seek to inspire all children at St Faith’s to enquire, discover, experiment, find solutions and draw conclusions – to ask questions and gather knowledge to become confident scientists as they move up into Key Stage 3.
