Year 4 are taught by Miss Harding and supported by Pip.
The class is made up of 17 children aged eight and nine. The role of the teacher is to consistently inspire and motivate the children by planning engaging lessons and to provide them with suitable feedback to support their academic learning .
We also take the responsibility of nurturing the children seriously and to support them with this we will encourage personal development, both socially and academically, by focusing on each individual child in order for them to realise and maximise their potential.
Allison works with specific groups both in and out of class to provide additional support both for all abilities.
If you have any quick queries, please feel free to catch me at the start or end of the school day. However, if there is anything you wish to discuss at greater length, please do let me know and we can arrange a suitable time.
Year 4 is in Key Stage 2 and to see our timings each day are as shown in the timetable, please click here
The school day begins promptly at 8.40 and the gates are closed between 9:00am and 2.50pm. If you visit the school during these hours, please use buzzer entry by the gate to the side of the car park. By doing this we can ensure the children are in a safe environment during the school day. Should you need to collect your child for an appointment, please to come to the Office and sign your child out whilst a member of staff collects them from the classroom.
The school office is open between 8.30am until 3.40pm to assist you with any queries.
When collecting and dropping your child as school, punctuality is really important. Being late can result in causing distress to your child and interrupts their learning. Should there are repeated and/ or unexplained late collections you will be asked to meet with the Headteacher so that any issues can be resolved.
