At St Faith’s we think our pupils have a great deal to offer and so it is vital that we listen to them. We are constantly looking at ways to improve our school and the children have some fantastic ideas for how we can do this. The process of this is via the School Council.
The School Council is created by children from years 1 to 6 putting themselves forward for nomination as their class representative on the council. Each nominee then prepares a speech on the qualities that would make them a good candidate. The class then votes for one pupil from their class to represent them. The second School Councillor from each class is then selected by the class teacher from those nominated.

This year the School Council are looking forward to continuing to be involved in decision making which impacts life at St Faith’s CE School. One of the main focuses this year will be gathering ideas and planning on how to improve an unused space next to our large playground.
